It is vital to be reminded of the bigger picture or main purpose of any endeavor. It is so easy to be caught up in every day details and struggles that we forget the primary goal we want to see accomplished! That could apply to ministry, parenting, marriage, or blogging!
I came across a verse this past week that jumped out at me because it is the very reason that I started writing this blog. I think I'll adopt it as my "blog verse".
Psalm 9:1 "I will give thanks the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds."
The subtitle of my blog is, "Developing an awareness of God's daily blessings." I want to encourage you to be aware of God's working in your life, and then take that awareness and turn it into praise. We serve a great God who accomplishes wonderful deeds in each one of our lives! I never want to forget that main purpose....
