Well, I woke up this morning to more snow!! The one time I really enjoy the snow is first thing in the morning. It is so still, quiet, and completely white! There are no footprints, muddy spots, or brown ice chunks messing up the beauty. I was thinking of Psalm 51:7, "Wash me with hyssop and I shall be clean; wash me I shall be whiter than snow." When the Lord cleanses our hearts we are like that perfect, clean snow. In God's eyes we are absolutely beautiful. We are clean and white without being marred with dirt and sin. Later in the day, the sun might come out and shine on the layer of pure white. It's a beautiful sight when it's bright rays are reflected in the snow causing a gorgeous sparkle and shine. The same thing can happen in our lives. Our clean, white hearts can reflect the "Son" to the world around us. Here is one of my favorite verses from the well-known song, "Whiter than snow":
Lord Jesus, look down from Thy throne in the skies,
