"orsh" = horse......

My little guy is getting better and better at communicating. It makes my days so much easier when I can figure out what he need or wants. Because I spend every day with him, I am able to discern/interpret what he has to say. For instance:

"shoot" = shoot (very clear because he LOVES basketball) *see picture above!
"pane" = plane
"choo-choo twain" = choo-choo- train (that's an easy one!)
"bead" = bread
"cuccer" = sucker (one of his favorites!!)
"ish" = fish
"Bumbo" = Elmo (we're working on this one!!)

Our communication improves every day because of all the time we spend together!

It started me thinking! Doesn't the same principle apply to our relationship and communication with our Heavenly Father? The more time we spend with Him, the more we can discern his voice our hectic, stress-filled lives! Even whispering small words of praise and quick cries for help, contribute to a closer relationship with him each day! On the other side of this relationship is a God who doesn't need any help understanding the thoughts and burdens of our heart! Even when our words don't make sense, he knows exactly what we mean! After all, he created us! Wow!! What a thought!

Psalm 17:6, "I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer."

I hope you take some time to develop your communication with our Lord today! He desires to hear from you!
