Last night, my little guy went to bed early. He had been into EVERYTHING all day, and I was ready for some peace and quiet. Adam and I were relaxing on the couch watching "Wheel of Fortune" when we heard a strange noise from inside Timmy's room. I muted the TV to listen more closely. Sure enough, someone was jiggling the door knob from inside the room. I couldn't believe it! He had somehow climbed out of his crib (which Adam has lowered twice already), and was trying to get out of his room. I thought I still had a little while before he slept in a big boy bed and would get out after bedtime, so this really surprised me!! We tucked him back into bed and he quickly fell into dreamland. As several people have told me, this is only the beginning of the things I have to look forward to with a little boy. Before we fell asleep last night, I turned the monitor up just a little bit more, and said a little prayer for God's protection on my busy boy! =)
