Partnership in Prayer

“You don’t know me, but because of your grandma, I pray for you girls regularly.” The white-haired woman had made her way over to the table where my younger sister and I sat after our grandma’s funeral. Tears sprang to our eyes as she proceeded to ask us about our lives. Was my sister still cancer-free? Was she still working at the same law firm? How were my four children? My sister and I were stunned. We knew our grandma regularly prayed for our family, but suddenly we realized it hadn’t stopped with her. In fact, as we left the memorial that evening, we found a church-wide prayer sheet including my sister’s health struggles. An entire body of believers in Michigan was praying for a sister in South Carolina all because a 95-year-old woman saw the value of prayer. Friday Feedback....

Thanks to your great feedback and awesome poll voting last week, I learned that a few more of you like the Friday Feedback written out than in video form. I really have fun with the vlogs though, so I'll try to compromise!! Friday Feedback....

This week I have been participating in fun challenge started by Sarah Mae . She called it the Get Dressed Challenge.... The object was to get up and dressed (make-up and hair included) by 8:00. We were then supposed to take a picture of ourselves each day. Here's how my week went: Monday ~ Up bright and early (even though it was our day off) Tuesday ~ I had time to pick out a coordinating bracelet! =) Wednesday ~ The challenge was to get ourselves dressed (not necessarily our children)! Thursday ~ Quick picture outside in the gorgeous weather! Friday ~ I needed my COFFEE after staying up too late on Thursday night! =) It's amazing how simply making it a point to prepare myself physically for the day impacted the things I did for the next 14 hours! I felt more ready to face the tasks of the day head on! I think Adam appreciated it too! =) In light of the challenge from this week, here is the Friday Feedback question: In
